THEME: “Love is our Mission: Up wid Family Life!”
DATES: Thursday 2 March 2017 – Saturday 4 March 2017
Youth Explosion 2017 is a three (3) day youth retreat seeking to ignite creative change for the youth in the Archdiocese of Kingston.
This year’s format will include a two day (2) Executive retreat specifically targeted for representatives from the Parish Youth Group Executive, followed by a Day Explosion for all youth (13 – 35) and their friends within the Archdiocese. The event will include both fun and spiritual activities centered on improving family life in Jamaica. Our primary objective is the evangelization of young people in Jamaica, which includes the deepening of faith for persons actively involved in the life of the Church, the re-evangelization of our lapsed Catholic young people, and the evangelization of non-Catholic youths.
- Executive Retreat ($6,000 per person) – Three Finger Jack Hotel, Mar Bella Estate, St. Thomas
- Day Explosion ($1,500 per person) – Stephanie Hall, Holy Childhood High School
The registration deadline for the Executive Retreat is Monday 20 February 2017.
